Mr. Ankunda Paul FCCA, CPA

Mr. Ankunda is the Chairman of the Finance, Investments & Administration Committee (FIAC) and a member of the Technical Committee of the Board.
Mr. Ankunda is an accomplished finance professional with over 15 years of progressive experience. He previously led and served in governance roles at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), AMREF Africa Health Africa, Straight Talk Foundation and Forum for Women in Democracy (FOWODE). Currently he works as Senior Manager, Portfolio Financial Management at Gavi and The Vaccine Alliance in Switzerland. Prior to this, he worked in finance, audit and management roles at the Ministry of Finance, Planning & Economic Development (MOFPED), National Water & Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) and Standard Chartered Bank in Uganda.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), & is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) of Uganda, he holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School (Heriot Watt University, Scotland) and a Masters in Management Studies from Uganda Management Institute (UMI), & Post Graduate Diploma in Management at UMI. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Makerere University Kampala, Uganda.
