Brief info
Mr. Katambala represents Zep Re (PTA Reinsurance Company Limited) on the Board of Uganda Re and he is a member of the Technical Committee.
He is currently ZEP-RE's Chief Underwriting Officer and has been with the company since 2015. Bernard is also responsible for engineering the Centre of competence at Zep-Re. Prior to joining the company, he was the Regional Manager of East Africa with Munich Reinsurance Company, having worked in various markets including USA and Mauritius over a period of more than 14 years. Bernard has over 21 years of experience in reinsurance & over 2 years in engineering construction.
He holds an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi and an Advanced Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute of United Kingdom (ACIl).Bernard is a Chartered Insurer & a certified engagement and productivity coach.
