Dr. Joyce Namirimo Tamale

Dr. Tamale is the Chairperson of the Board of Uganda Re. Prior to her appointment as the Chair of the Board, she served as the Chairperson of the Finance, Investments and Administration Committee of the same Board.
She is the Founder and CEO of Capital Solutions Ltd, a social enterprise that builds and scales social enterprises in Africa. She is a passionate & strategic leader with 20 years' working experience in the Private and Social sector. A professional Accountant, Sustainability Expert & a Strategist with wide experience serving on different Boards. She has wide experience in corporate governance and serves on other Boards such as Humentum USA, Chairperson Emeritus Board of Forum for women in Democracy (FOWODE).
She served as Chairperson of ACCA Members network panel Uganda, Institute for Social Transformation, Uganda Health Marketing Group as the Managing Director and the Social Entrepreneurship Forum Africa.
Dr. Tamale is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK, a member of the Institute for Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). She holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the Swiss School of Business Management (SSBM) Geneva, a Master's in Public Health from John Hopkins University Baltimore USA, a Master's in Business Administration from ESAMI, and BCOM from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda.
