Uganda Re Welcomes Mr. Mark Muwanguzi to the Board of Directors
Uganda Re is pleased to welcome Mr. Mark Muwanguzi to its Board of Directors. Mr. Muwanguzi joins the Board as a representative of the minority shareholders and will serve on two key committees: The Reinsurance and Claims Operations (RENCO) Committee and the Finance, Investment & Administration Committee.
Mr. Muwanguzi brings with him a wealth of expertise in computer engineering, with over 15 years of experience in the field. His career has been marked by a strong focus on system design, automation, IT governance and Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies. He has successfully led numerous digital transformation projects across various sectors, demonstrating a deep understanding of how technology can drive efficiency, innovation and value in complex organizations.
In addition to his technical and strategic acumen, Mr. Muwanguzi is a registered member of the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and industry standards.
